Velier 2024
On 18 and 19 February in Milan, we took part in an exceptional event that will remain in the hearts and minds of wine, spirits and spirits lovers: Velier Live 2024. With the curiosity and passion that distinguishes us, we took part in this event and are happy to be able to testify that a great company like Velier has created an event that will hardly be forgotten.
Two of the experiences we did deserve special mention.
The first experience took place in the temple of Macallan where we were able to discover the secrets behind the origins of what are considered to be some of the best whiskies in the world: the wild Scottish ecosystem, the “curiously small” stills, the very long ageing processes and the skill of the people. A special thank you not only to Velier but also to brand specialist Andrea Brulatti for this crazy journey through Macallan’s doublecask paired with Giorgio Guglielmetti’s cuisine, Longino & Cardenal’s products and Antonello Egizi’s mastery.
The other magnificent experience was led by Gianfranco Pola who told us about Chartreuse: a liqueur with timeless charm. Few products in the world of liqueurs have the charm and history of Chartreuse, few people like brand ambassador Pola represent the concepts of charisma, professionalism and communication skills. The history of this herbal liqueur has centuries-old roots in a French monastery and its recipe is still guarded by the monks of the Grande Chartreuse.
Velier Live was an opportunity to catch up with old and new acquaintances, and among them it was a real pleasure to see Edoardo Strano, the creator of Amaro Amara, a product we love and recommend to our fans, especially in the version aged for 12 months in the barrels containing the emblematic and prized Caroni Rum.
What can we say… it was wonderful, thank you for allowing us to participate, we look forward to taking part, spoiling and telling you about the next Velier Live.
